I live on Hayling Island, with my partner Peter and our two beautiful Tibetan Terriers. We are lucky enough to have a beautiful spot with stunning views of the South Coast and the Downs, and my inspiration is drawn from the beauty and nature of the Island
Originally I had planned a career in art, but like many of us, life and family got in the way, and after years of travelling the world as an Aviation Consultant, in 2020 I took the opportunity to leave corporate life and picked up my brushes again to pursue my passion for painting full time.
I feel blessed that I can combine my love of the Island with my passion of capturing special moments on canvas and hope you enjoy the results as much I enjoy painting them
We spend a great deal of time walking along the Hayling coastline, taking in the stunning views, dramatic skies and vivid colours. The Hayling Highland Cows, often come to greet us as we walk on Sandy Point and along the Billy Trail; these majestic beasts are such gentle giants and have personalities to match their size.
I love to paint the cows and ask friends and followers to think of names; we have Trump, Boris, Buttercup and Herman, to name a few of them. Joining the Hayling Highlanders are the Northney Cows, the Hayling Donkeys from the Sanctuary, and of course the sea.

I paint in a large bold format on box canvas to capture the scale of the subjects and enjoy working in either oil or acrylic
